Who am I?

My name is Pamirbek, I am from Murghab (Eastern Pamirs).

I am a guide, certified by the University of Central Asia and a driver. I have over 15 years experience driving - including for a hunting company and 5 years experience guiding visitors in the Pamirs. I also cook for my guests during treks and, because cars often break down on the bumpy roads of the Pamirs, I am not a bad mechanic! I speak Kyrgyz, Russian, intermediate English and Tajik and basic French.

I guide groups (between 4 and 10 people) in the Pamirs, with a focus on jeep tours and treks. I offer pick up from Dushanbe airport and Osh as well.

My objective is to offer unforgettable trips to visitors to the Pamirs, at a reasonable price and with the lowest possible impact on the environment.

Treks

From the narrow valleys of the Western Pamirs to the high plateaus of the Eastern Pamirs, you will walk through spectacular scenery and in environments that stimulate every sense, at an altitude of up to 4,800 meters. You might be lucky enough to see some ibexes, marco-polo sheep, or some tracks of the elusive snow leopard. Luggage, food and tents are carried by donkeys during treks and accommodation is organized in high quality tents.

Combination jeep tour and trek

This itinerary will allow you to combine a jeep tour and some short treks of 2-3 days each and is a good compromise for those who enjoy walking, but are not willing to go for a longer trek and want to stay at lower altitudes. You will discover the Bartang and the Roshkala valleys, two of the most intimate and secret valleys of the Pamirs.
