Itineraries

Because it takes some time to reach and return from the Pamirs (2 days from Dushanbe to Khorog), most of the itineraries I propose are for 2 weeks or more. But I also offer an eight-day itinerary for those who have less time.

Flights between Khorog and Dushanbe are unreliable, and all my itineraries therefore include a transfer from Dushanbe to Khorog by road. The itineraries listed below can also start from Khorog for those who want to go to Khorog by shared transport.

My itineraries cover both the Western and Eastern Pamirs. For more information about the attractions of the Pamirs, visit the excellent website www.pamirs.org

Treks

  • 22 days itinerary from Dushanbe and return including one trek of 3 days in the Bartang valley and one trek of 6 days in the Gunt valley;
  • 22 days itinerary from Dushanbe and return including one trek of 7 days between the Bartang and the Ghunt valley and one 3- day trek in the Roshtkala valley;
  • 19 days trek including 7-day trek between Bardara and Bulun Kul;
  • 14 days itinerary from Dushanbe and return including one 6 days trek in the Pamirs.

Note: Luggage, food and tents are carried by donkeys during treks and accommodation is organized in high quality tents. During jeep tours and transfers, accommodation is organized in village home stays.
